WOMEN IN BUSINESS 2015
Sacramento Bikram Yoga
My yoga journey began in 2002 when I started to feel the repercussions of 30 years of running and began searching for ways to heal my body from years of overuse. I fell in love with Bikam HOT Yoga as I immediately felt the healing affects of working my muscles through yoga postures in a heated room. I quickly realized that Bikram HOT Yoga was giving me more energy, healing my injuries, and giving me a sense of wellbeing that no other activity had done before! We built Sacramento Bikram Yoga in 2011 with a goal to bring healing and health benefits to the Sacramento Community through yoga. Come meet Julie, take a class from our certified teachers, and discover for yourself the amazing benefits of Bikram HOT Yoga.

CSL Solutions, Founder & CEO
At CSL Solutions, we believe that when an entrepreneur has a vision, builds a business and becomes so successful they have to hire their first employee, they should have their own HR superheroes to take the reins. We would never want a business owner to lose their passion for what they built and what drove them to begin their business in the first place, especially because of the difficulties of payroll, taxes, benefit insurance, workers comp and complicated labor laws. CSL’s purpose is to handle these burdens for business owners so they can thrive within their own vision and purpose. We are all about solutions. Preventing problems from occurring and resolving them when they do. For over two decades and counting, CSL has managed nearly every aspect of the employer-employee relationship. LISA L. BRADNER–EMPLOYMENT LAW ATTORNEY
Rose Law, APC – Working Hard For Working People™
Lisa L. Bradner spent the first half of her 17-year career representing public and private employers and large real estate developers in complex multi-party litigation in the Central Valley and San Francisco Bay Area. But her favorite case involved representing two technology salespeople whose employer fired them rather than pay out a million-dollar earned sales commission. So, after moving to the Sacramento area, she joined Rose Law, an employment law boutique firm specializing in helping workers in wrongful termination and wage disputes. “Representing employers in the past gave me valuable experience I use to represent workers now,” she says. She also feels being part of a smaller firm allows for more efficient, collaborative and creative problem-solving to obtain justice for her clients. Examples of her tenacity have been demonstrated in such cases as the mother of four who was terminated from her job when she suffered a life-threatening health crisis, a firefighter who was retaliated against for asserting his legally protected rights, and the 300 workers in a federal wage and hour class-action lawsuit whose employer misclassified them as independent contractors in order to withhold overtime pay and other benefits. “I am proud to represent hard-working people who deserve fair treatment and fair pay. It is fulfilling to help workers assert their rights and receive compensation for injustice.” If you have an employment law issue or wage dispute, contact Lisa L. Bradner at Rose Law.

“A lot of people ask me what’s my secret to success,” said Kim Pacini-Hauch. “My answer’s simple, I love what I do and I provide ‘white glove’ service to all of my clients.” As it turns out, this approach has served her well and has earned her the highest of industry accolades as she became #1 Top Producer in Sacramento County for 2014, #1 Agent for luxury homes sold (over $1M) for the past 12 years and has nearly a half a billion dollars in career sales. Kim is attuned to her community and involved with many local charitable organizations, which she adds, “keeps me connected and grounded to my community.”
MOLLY BROWN & TATIANA KAISER
Owners of Sun & Soil Juice Co.
Molly Brown and Tatiana Kaiser opened the doors to Sun & Soil Juice Company in Midtown Sacramento, June 2014 (19th & P street). The Mission was simple – to infuse raw organic nutrition into the community through delicious juice, smoothies, and food. As first time small business owners, there was a lot of uncertainty as to how the community would receive such a product. The response was overwhelmingly positive with an immediate demand for their certified organic concoctions. Sales have grown steadily and so has the staff. They started with 6 part time employees and now have 20 after one year. Molly & Tatiana believe this success has come in large part due to their firm commitment to high quality organic ingredients, delicious original products, and excellent customer service. Through these commitments, Sun & Soil has established a strong following in the greater Sacramento area with many regular customers who now experience the joys of eating fresh, unprocessed, creative foods more often.

Ambitious and unconventional, Dena found her love of cars and technology thru family at a young age. She then met her husband, Patrick. In 2003, they started SteamPRO, but wanted one day to have an auto related business. With Dena having a near 2 decade career at Intel (hired at 17), and Patrick running SteamPRO, they took the leap and opened The Auto Vault in 2014, taking care of cars: classic, muscle, exotic, luxury and custom.
