On Saturday, September 22nd, Soil Born Farms is offering the region’s food, wine and beer enthusiasts an opportunity to enjoy an evening of live music, dining and conviviality on its extensive property – “an urban agricultural oasis nestled in the heart of the city.”
The farm will feature the lively tunes of Mind X Quartet and Cousin Jimbo & Friends; and will offer a dizzying array of seasonal, organic foods prepared by prominent local restaurants such as The Waterboy, Ella Dining Room & Bar, Magpie Café and Mulvaney’s B&L. Thirsty guests will appreciate the wine, beer and cider provided by well-known producers including Boeger Winery, Berryessa Gap Vineyards, Two Rivers Cider Company and Rubicon Brewing Company.
The event, which also includes a silent auction, runs from 4:30pm to 8:30pm and tickets are $60 per person. All proceeds benefit the Soil Born Farms Urban Agriculture & Education Project.
You can purchase tickets in advance at the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op, 1900 Alhambra Boulevard in Sacramento; or by visiting Soil Born Farms’ website.
