Miniature Golf Course

Scandia Family Fun Center
5070 Hillsdale Blvd., Sacramento; (916) 331-5757; www.scandiasports.com

Founded in 1977 by three Scandinavian families, the Sacramento Scandia was the first one they built. (Other locations include Fairfield, Las Vegas and Ontario.) The two 18-hole mini golf courses play through ponds, fountains and gardens, challenging players with obstacles such as a Scandinavian Castle and the giant Windmill. After golf, hop aboard a Baltic Sea Bumper Boat and get a little wet while crashing into other bumper boaters. Scandia’s batting cages blast hardball and softball pitching, the Stockholm Raceway invites you to speed around a neatly landscaped track, and the Scandia Screamer roller coaster will thrill anyone brave enough to climb aboard. Finish the day in the Grand Arcade, with video, pinball, Skee-Ball and air hockey.
