I stopped into Tsuda’s Old Town Eatery recently, located on the square in the historic section of Auburn. This charming establishment has rustic brick walls, lots of colorful artwork, and a very tempting selection of pre-prepared food items. Sandwiches are another brisk seller; and few customers can resist the selection of freshly baked goodies. The turkey chili and chicken tortilla soup we ordered were outstanding; and as I left, I cast a longing look at the mouthwatering tumble of triple chocolate brownies, croissants and double-streusel coffee cake displayed at the back of the store. This is one very appealing little community treasure I’ll be back to visit soon.
