Wine of the Week: Capay Valley Vineyards Viognier

1414

I’m thrilled to feature one of my favorite locally-crafted wines this week. Capay Valley Vineyards’ Viognier is a real treasure – its peachy, tropical, orange-blossomy aromas make me swoon, and its deep, golden color looks lovely in a nice wine glass. This dry, lush, ebulliently fruity wine offers sophisticated and intense flavors of apricot and mango, with a subtle herbaceous background and a hint of honey in the aftertaste. Smooth and captivating, this is a wine you’ll want to share with fellow enophiles.
