Sunday night I reveled in one of my most favorite (and naughty) food indulgences: carnitas tacos. I buy the indescribably delicious, crusty-tender meat from La Esperanza Mexican grocery on Franklin Boulevard, then whip up a big trough of guacamole. We heat corn tortillas in the microwave, plop a sinful amount of the greasy, irresistible meat in the middle, and slather it with an equally sinful amount of guacamole. Paired with an ice-cold beer, this is a happy-making (and thigh-expanding) meal that takes mere moments to prepare.
