Video: Getting Saucy at the Davis Farmers Market

At the Davis farmers market on Saturday, I was drawn to the SunBlest Orchards stall, where a guy named Ryan was selling sauces, glazes and other products made from sundried apricots. He had a great patter that reminded me of the ShamWow! guy. I couldn’t resist buying a $4.50 jar of Hot ’Cot Pepper Sauce, made from apricots and red chilies. According to Ryan, you can use it for just about everything but washing your car. Back at home, I put the sauce on grilled pork chops. Good stuff.
