Tuli Bistro: Inspired Cooking


Quirky little Tuli Bistro never fails to surprise me – there’s always something novel and exciting on the ever-changing menu. Recently I plowed my way through the kitchen’s delicious “chitarra nero,” seared flounder and slices of Andouille sausage tossed with roasted bell peppers, arugula, and a silky housemade squid ink pasta. I also managed to tuck away a toothsome pile of roasted Brussels sprouts, embellished with salty bits of applewood-smoked bacon, a dash of Meyer lemon juice and pungent Gorgonzola cheese. If you were scarred in early childhood by malodorous, slimy, overcooked Brussels sprouts – as I was – this is the time to give these much-maligned vegetables a second try.
