Squeeze Inn Set to Close Saturday

You’d better hurry over to Squeeze Inn for one last Squeeze With Cheese. The legendary burger joint on Fruitridge Road will close this Saturday and reopen in larger digs at 5301 Power Inn Road on Monday, Feb. 15. The inn’s owner decided to move after he was hit with a lawsuit alleging the restaurant didn’t meet requirements of the Americans With Disabilities Act. While the suit eventually was dropped, he decided to go ahead with the move. Squeeze Inn was featured on Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives” and was voted “best dive” by Sacramento magazine readers five years in a row.
