Want to cook up an impressive dessert for your sweetie on Valentine’s Day? Talented chocolatier Ginger Elizabeth Hahn, owner of Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates in midtown Sacramento, is offering a class on Saturday, February 6th called “Soufflés for Your Valentine” where she’ll “dispel many of the misconceptions and myths regarding soufflé making.” Attendees will learn how to make a classic French Grand Marnier soufflé; a bittersweet chocolate molten soufflé cake; and a frozen Meyer lemon soufflé. Ginger is also including a chocolate tasting and discussion focused on “How and why chocolate can spice up your Valentine’s Day.” Note: this is a demonstration class (attendees will not be handling food), but everyone will taste the completed soufflés.
