The Selland family will debut its own wine tomorrow evening (May 13) at Selland’s Market-Cafe during its Second Wednesday Wine Tasting.
Selland Family Pinot Noir, a blend concocted by family member John Nelson and the wine directors from the Sellands’ three restaurants, was made at Hirsch Vineyards, a premium winemaker on the Sonoma Coast.
The tasting, from 6 to 8 p.m., will also include 2006 Chance Creek Sauvignon Blanc, Mendocino; 2007 Mietz Chardonnay, Carmine’s Vineyard, Russian River Valley; 2007 Petit Rimauresq, Côtes de Provence, France; 2007 Holus Bolus Syrah, Santa Barbara County; Radee Passionfruit Fruit Wine, Thailand; and a mystery wine. The cost: $15.
