Just in time for the first day of autumn, The Frosted Cake Shop has rolled out its fall cake flavors. Baker Tessa Lindow, who works out of the kitchen at Old Soul Co. in midtown, has added pumpkin spice, mocha spice and apple to the lineup. Lindow makes beautifully decorated cakes and cupcakes to order only. For the holidays, she’ll be making (among other things) Halloween-themed cupcakes and a Thanksgiving cake that looks like a pie—“for people who are tired of traditional pies,” she says.
