Local chocolatier Ginger Elizabeth brought some of her wares to a San Francisco book signing by world-class pastry chef David Lebovitz and was rewarded with an uber-flattering comment from Lebovitz himself. “These were some of the best chocolates I’ve ever had,” raved Lebovitz on Flickr.

Lebovitz, who trained at Chez Panisse, now lives in Paris and writes books, including The Great Book of Chocolate. “He knows good chocolates,” said a “pleased” Elizabeth.
