Acclaimed food writer Harold McGee, author of On Food and Cooking: The Science and Lore of the Kitchen (see www.curiouscook.com) will be the featured lecturer of the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Sciences’s Spring Lectureship. Scheduled on Thursday, April 15th, the event is entitled “Science and the Experience of Eating and Drinking,” and also features several UC Davis faculty speakers. The Lectureship is free to the public – however, pre-registration is required. (Hint: Campus organizers expect the event to fill up quickly).
