I sampled a couple of ice cream bars from Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates the other day. (It’s a tough job, but somebody’s got to do it, you know?) They’re like really upscale Klondike Bars.
The S’More Bar—graham cracker ice cream with housemade marshmallow and flourless brownie chunks, dipped in bittersweet chocolate and served on a stick—was pretty good. But the Almond Rocher Bar (Tahitian vanilla ice cream dipped in bittersweet chocolate and rolled in candied almonds) really rocked. Those nuts … ! It goes without saying that everything, including the ice cream itself, is made on the premises.
They’re $5 apiece.
