The classes are:
Pain Perdu a l’Italienne (French toast Italian style) prepared by Chef Dina (9:30–10:30 a.m.)
Malyasian Curry Puffs With Culinary Instructor Shankari Easwaran (11 a.m.–noon)
Chef Andrew Hillman’s Small Plates with Seasonal Spring Produce (12:30–1:30 p.m.)
The Cooks of Broadway, moderated by Capital Public Radio host Elaine Corn (2–4 p.m.), featuring injera prepared by Zion Taddese of Queen Sheba Restaurant, rice paper rolls by Andy Nguyen of Andy Nguyen’s Vegetarian Restaurant and cococut chicken by Putu of Bali Grill
East Bay is celebrating its 75th anniversary all day long with free classes, cooking demonstrations and food. The store is also holding a sale.
