“Follow the Chef” Farmers Market Tours to Begin on May 4th


Farmers market chef tours with Grange Restaurant & Bar Executive Chef Michael Tuohy are set to begin again this year. The first tour starts on Wednesday, May 4th, the first day of the popular downtown Cesar Chavez park farmers market. According to the restaurant, Chef Tuohy will share his knowledge of locally-grown products and will guide participants in “how to choose produce, what it means to be certified organic [and] how the weather affects what is in season.” The tours are limited to 15 people and cost $39, which includes a three-course lunch (showcasing products chef Tuohy has purchased at the farmers market) and a glass of wine at the Grange, which is conveniently located directly across the street from Cesar Chavez park.
