Chef Adam Pechal’s newest venture, Restaurant Thir13en, is now open for business. Located in the Sterling Hotel at 13th and H Streets in downtown Sacramento, Thir13en is the second restaurant for Pechal, who also owns and operates (with partners Karl and Ulrike Petersen) Tuli Bistro on S Street in midtown.
Featuring a compact menu of sandwiches, salads and small plates designed for nibbling, Restaurant Thir13en features a lovely outdoor dining patio area with a water fountain. Try the excellent (housemade) fennel sausage sandwich and the refreshing, colorful tuna carpaccio, enlivened with fresh Thai herbs and a chili-lime vinaigrette. The restaurant also features an appealing lineup of artisan cocktails.
