Chipotle’s Announces a New Kids’ Menu – and Some Tasty Freebies

1210

This Monday, October 12th, Chipotle Mexican Grill locations throughout the region will introduce a new kid’s menu. Priced at less than $4 (including a beverage), menu items for children 10 years and younger will feature naturally raised meats (sourced from animals that are humanely raised, never given antibiotics or added hormones, and are fed a vegetarian diet) and dairy products made with milk from cows that are not treated with the synthetic recombinant bovine growth hormone (rBGH).

Selections include a build-it-yourself “taco kit” ($3.50), allowing kids to choose any three ingredients and two crispy or soft taco shells, plus rice and a small order of chips – the assembly is up to them. Also available is a small meat and cheese quesadilla ($3.50), served with a side of rice or beans and a small order of chips.

To encourage local families to try the items, restaurants will offer one free kid’s meal with the purchase of a burrito, tacos, burrito bowl, or salad every Sunday from October 18th through November 8th.

There are a number of Chipotle restaurants in the Sacramento region.
