Summer’s right around the corner, and if you’re in need of some outdoor cooking pointers, you’re in luck. Matt Woolston, chef/owner of the Supper Club on Del Paso Boulevard, is offering a “Grilling, Smoking, Al fresco” cooking class on Friday, May 14th from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Attendees will learn how to “grill and smoke like a pro,” while nibbling on a pretty fabulous-sounding menu (and sampling some good wines).
The evening’s lesson/feast includes grilled lamb kefta brochettes with garlic harissa chili oil; a “California Style” gazpacho martini with grilled chili lime prawns and tomatillo avocado salsa; and a mixed berry tart with citrus zabaglione and Pernod whipped cream in a toasted hazelnut crust.
The class is $90 per person and includes “demo, participation, dinner, wine and recipes.”
