Looking for a unique holiday activity for the family this weekend? Check out the Camellia Waldorf School Winter Faire, which will be held on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. For more than 20 years, the school has opened its doors to the public for this festive annual event, which includes puppet shows, live music, local artists and craftspeople and lots of food. Children will have an opportunity to try out a kid’s yoga class or watch Waldorf fifth graders show off their circus art skills: parents will appreciate the chair massages and the Gingerbread Creations display, designed by Sacramento-area builders, architects and housing developers – and families can even make their own to take home.
Date: Saturday, Dec. 12
Faire Hours: 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Location: 5701 Freeport Blvd. next to the municipal airport
Cost: Admission to the Faire is free, with charges for food and certain activities.
