TAT2: Talented Trio

With its recent performance at Justin Bieber’s Purpose World Tour stop in Sacramento, TAT2 is taking over the region’s dance scene. And get this: The group’s members are all 10 years old.

The Art of Teknique 2nd Generation, or TAT2, is a Sacramento trio of hip-hop dancers. Lianne Ragonjan, Mari Barroga and Jordan Larot showcase their synchronic dance moves at regional platforms such as Global Winter Wonderland at Cal Expo and Rock the School Bells at Sacramento City College. The troupe has also been scouted for auditions on the NBC shows “America’s Got Talent” and “Little Big Shots.” The group came together in 2014 under the training of Kris Mangonon, aka JuJu Beatz, a founding member of the original Art of Teknique. Members of the Jabbawockeez, a popping and b-boying dance crew that made it big on MTV’s “America’s Best Dance Crew,” also train the dance group.

At the end of this month, TAT2 will head to Las Vegas for the Prodigy Dance Showcase. But you can spot these young dancers at the Pacific Rim Street Festival at Southside Park on May 14. Get updates at facebook.com/theartofteknique2.
