The pandemic has made shopping at the grocery store a whole lot harder (and scarier). To ease the burden, restaurant wholesaler Produce Express now sells its products directly to consumers. The company offers 11 “consumer boxes,” including an Italian-themed box filled with pasta, Arborio rice, polenta, Italian cheeses, marinara sauce, portobello mushrooms, garlic, basil oil and Italian herbs. Order a box by phone and pick up from a local drop point or the company’s warehouse near Power Inn. The boxes are sold at wholesale prices, ranging from $20 for a vegetable box to $50 for an all organics box.
