In more pandemic-related restaurant news, The Other Side by Track 7 is switching formats, pivoting from a fast-casual eatery to a dinner house serving a multicourse, prix-fixe dinner three nights a week. In a press release, the East Sac restaurant said the new format will allow it to “wow guests with each service while simultaneously allowing employees to thrive by managing hours of operation and service demands.”
The new menu debuts this weekend. At $55 per head, it includes popovers, radicchio salad, prime rib and Meyer lemon tiramisu, plus a complimentary glass of Track 7 beer or wine. Supplemental courses and craft beer and wine pairings will also be available. The menu will change monthly.
The Other Side by Track 7 is also replacing optional tipping with a 20% service fee to allow for a higher living wage for its employees.
The new format won’t affect operations of Track 7’s East Sac taproom. The bar and outdoor patio will remain open, serving craft beer, seven days a week.
The Other Side will be open for dinner on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with limited seating. For reservations, go to here.
