Harvest is always an exciting time of year in wine country, filled with the promise of a new vintage and lots of anticipation and energy. This year, in the Sierra Foothill wine regions, many are feeling an extra bit of gratitude after escaping the threat of wildfires. As an added blessing, the harvest is revealing high quality fruit, showing concentrated and well-developed flavors.
To celebrate what appears to be an excellent vintage, Rombauer Vineyards is hosting a Harvest Celebration on Saturday, Oct. 16, at their winery in Plymouth, CA. Revelers can join the festivities by purchasing tickets in advance ($150/each). Each ticket includes:
- Food provided by Taste restaurant, including barbecue and seasonal dishes.
- The wines of Rombauer Vineyards: Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Napa Cabernet, Barbera, El Dorado Zinfandel and Rombauer Zinfandel.
- Music by the California Cowboys, a Northern California country band.
- Attendees can also dust off their boots and join in for some country line dancing lessons!
