Ginger Elizabeth Hahn, owner of Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates and Ginger Elizabeth Patisserie, is coming out with a book on how to make her famous macarons later this year. Called “The Macaron Cookbook,” it will include recipes and instructions for some of her most popular creations, including classic macarons filled with ganache or buttercream; jam-filled macarons; holiday macarons such as peppermint macarons and frosted gingersnap macarons; and “fun” products such as macaron ice cream sandwiches and macaron cupcakes.
“Customers have asked me forever to do a cookbook,” says Hahn. “I was restless during COVID, so I decided why not.”
The book, which Hahn is self-publishing, will feature color photography by Francisco Chavira. It will cost $24.99 and will be sold at Hahn’s two shops and through her online store. Hahn expects the book to be available by December, in time for holiday giving.
