Are you ready for some football? That’s right, people—it’s Super Bowl time! Do you know where you’re heading this Sunday? If not, here are some suggestions:
Just like last year, The Corner is having a celebration—reservations required; Riverside Clubhouse will be serving up food and raffling off prizes; and Hoppy Brewing Company is offering “Hoppy Hour” prices during the game, Joe’s famous 15 bean bison chili and a $2 appetizer menu.
But some other places are hosting the event too, like On The Y, which will have food, games and “general obnoxious mayhem” as it relates to the big game; and Bisla’s at 7042 Folsom Blvd. will have “massive Super Bowl hevent,” though they aren’t sharing any of the details.
You can also pay $40 to do it up big at Thunder Valley Casino—where you can view the game on three huge 22-foot HD screens, and enjoy two premium call bar drinks, all-you-can-eat hors d’oeuvres, a buffet and giveaways. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.
There are lots of sports bars in our area—feel free to share what else is going on!
