Roller Derby!

This Saturday night, catch some twangy tunes and some hard-hitting ladies at the Sac City Rollers’ “Honky Tonk Hoedown.” There’ll be plenty of elbows flying and Fenders bending as the Sweaty Betties take on the Rude Girls. It’s old-fashioned roller derby at its best at the Foothill Skate Inn on Auburn Blvd. If you haven’t seen one of the area’s roller derby teams, you’re missing out on a night of true American pleasure. Doors open at 7 p.m., first whistle at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door, under 6 free.
