If you blinked while attempting to purchase tickets to the upcoming Farm-to-Form Gala on Tower Bridge, you found yourself out of luck, along with nearly 2,000 others who flooded the website in a vain attempt to scoop up tickets. Every last one of the 250 publicly available tickets for the $175-per-plate dinner was snatched up in a mere 15 seconds. (Last year’s dinner sold out in 30 seconds, while the inaugural event in 2013 sold out in eight hours.)
The highlight of Sacramento’s Farm-to-Fork Festival, the dinner, has become the hottest ticket in town. Buzzed-about chefs Oliver Ridgeway of Grange and Ravin Patel of Selland Family Restaurants will lead the Sept. 27 dinner. It’s expected to be incredible, but the real feeding frenzy has already begun.
