Get inspired and entertained this weekend at the Wild & Scenic Film Festival in Nevada City. The festival is put on by the South Yuba River Citizens League, and its mission, according to the league, is to inspire individuals to take action to help the environment. A few of the film genres: animals, health, activism and energy/climate change/resources; film lengths run the gamut—some are the standard one to two hours, while others are as short as four minutes. The festival takes place at various venues throughout Nevada City. Along the way, enjoy live music and special events (Wild & Scenic Gala on Saturday night; Eco Tour Tribute Trail Hike on Sunday).
