‘Visiting Mr. Green’

Does older always mean wiser? In “Visiting Mr. Green,” at Sacramento Theatre Company through May 4, it’s the other way around. In this award-winning comedy-drama written by Jeff Baron, two men—one 29 and the other 78—who would have never met are thrown together, the result of a traffic accident. When the younger man’s reckless driving conviction requires him to visit the older man once a week, it’s not all hunky-dory at first. But ultimately, life lessons are taught—and most of the time, it’s the young’un doing the teaching.

Intrigued? Great! But hurry: The show ends May 4.
