In case you weren’t aware, a weekly marketplace is held every Saturday in midtown. Aptly named the Midtown Bazaar, the event—held from noon to 5 p.m., and later on Second Saturdays—has been described as a Farmer’s Market with accessories. It’s all about community—local artisans and start-ups sharing what they’ve created with bazaar-goers. What can you usually find there? Well, vendors do change, but recent items seen are hats, scarves, paintings, handmade paper dolls, jewelry, cookies, cashew and peanut brittle, pizza and hot cocoa. And that’s not all—to see what else they’ve got, head to the parking garage at 1616 I St.
