Transcendence Festival

Open your chakras and find your spiritual bliss at Transcendence Festival, Sacramento’s community yoga, art and music festival. For three straight days, you can attend any number of yoga classes, workshops and presentations lend by some of the nation’s top instructors. Yogis bored of the typical vinyasa flow class will have the chance to try, among the many options, partner yoga, acrobatics, inversion classes, harmonic sound healing, paddle board yoga, acupressure, Qi-Gong, and much more. If you manage to pull yourself away from the mat for a few moments, you can dance it out at either of the two stages to music ranging from EDM to devotional music. And if you have an aching muscle or are feeling a little stressed, you might want to stop by the Healing Roots Sanctuary for massages, aromatherapy, energy work, breath work, acupuncture and other healing treatments. Meanwhile, kids can have fun at the Kindred Patch Family Camp, and yogis in need of a break from physical activity can check out the art galleries and live painting presentations. Since this is a camping event (guests are provided a camping spot for their tent or car), you may want to wander around and look at the creative themed camps and playgrounds other guests build on their campgrounds.
