If there were ever a movie to sing along to, “The Sound of Music” is it, with its endless flow of melodic Rodgers and Hammerstein tunes, from “Do-Re-Mi” to “My Favorite Things” to “Edelweiss.” On Friday, Dec. 26, you can belt out all those songs and more with Julie Andrews, the von Trapp kids and other fans of the classic 1965 film at the Crocker, which will host its popular sing-along event with screenings at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. Oh, and don’t forget your lederhosen or nun’s habit: Costume contests, goodie bags and door prizes are also part of the fun. But get your tickets fast: This event sells out quickly!
