Love it or hate it, rapper and producer T-Pain has left his mark on popular music, and his legacy can’t be ignored (or escaped). That Auto-Tune you hear on every song on the radio? That’s T-Pain’s doing. It doesn’t always work out (Kanye West’s tragic pitch-corrected “808s & Heartbreak” album being a painful example of the T-Pain Effect), but considering that T-Pain has been featured on more than 50 smash singles, it’s obvious the Auto-Tune can definitely be done right.

T-Pain will be performing at Ace of Spades on March 6 along with Priceless Da Roc, Diamond Dez, Biaje & Smoke, DJ Kentot, Keyringz, Mic Taylor and Young Duse. Expect songs off of the Grammy winner’s latest album, “THR33 RINGZ” and maybe a few of those hits that made him a big name in the first place. Remember Flo Rida’s “Low”? Or “I’m ‘n Luv (Wit a Stripper)”? Or even the hilarious “I’m On A Boat” by Lonely Island? All T-Pain. The man has worked with Kanye, Akon, Lily Allen, Young Joc, BoB, Ludacris, Ne-Yo, and more—in other words, he’s a hot commodity in the industry. Don’t miss this chance to see the man behind the Auto-Tune. More information is here.
