Spanish Immersion Program Appreciation Day

1960

The Spanish Immersion Program strives to teach children and adults the Spanish language—and, in turn, more about the culture—through fun and creative activities. (Imagine learning Spanish through songs, games or just everyday conversations.) You can find out more about this program by attending the organization’s Appreciation Day Celebration at its new location, Wintersein School, 900 Morse Ave. in Sacramento, on Saturday, Feb. 11, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will be food, music, raffles and prizes. You might even win a chance to take some classes for free! Carlos González Gutiérrez, consul general of México, will be presiding over the ribbon cutting ceremony.
