Get your paper, pencil and palate ready for SketchCrawl at the Crocker Art Museum on Thursday, May 1 from 6-7:30 p.m.

SketchCrawl is a global initiative started in San Francisco by Enrico Casarosa meant to awaken the artist in each of us during a “marathon” day of drawing—though this event only lasts an hour and a half, so you won’t have to stretch before you sketch. Participants will get to peruse the museum pieces on display while local artists discuss and demonstrate drawing tips and tricks.

Need an extra incentive to let your pencil loose? Each drawing stop will feature beer and wine samples to get the creative juices flowing.
