Expect a flaming hot night of entertainment at the Seventh Annual Fire Spectacular, taking place Saturday, Sept. 20 at Land Park’s William A. Carroll Amphitheatre. Local fire troupe Obsidian Butterly, along with other fire groups from across the western United States, will dance and spin with fire, eat and breathe fire, and more. The annual event began in 2008 with a grant from the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission and a mission to bridge fire performance, music and poetic narration to “tell a story through movement.” For more information, click here.
