Coming hot off the heels of the previous weekend’s TBD Fest, West Sacramento’s riverfront is transforming again for another three-day party on Oct. 10, 11 and 12. This time, it’s the second annual Sactoberfest, which has grown from a one-day event to a whole weekend in just one year. This traditional Oktoberfest-style outdoor festival has all the German biers and local craft brews you’d want, naturally, but also features German-style foods (with a California farm-to-fork twist) in the Hofbrau area, a full carnival, live music provided by The Internationals, the 21-piece brass Chico Bavarian Band, and the Flying Dutchman and Alpine Horns, plus traditional German dance, a Xoso Sportsplatz area, stein lifting, keg rolling, beer pong, cornhole competitions and more. So don’t stress not being able to get over to Bavaria this fall: West Sac’s got you covered. For more information, see here.
