It’s not Mexico, but this year’s Sacramento Taco Festival may feel like it with live music, lucha libre wrestling and a seemingly endless supply of tacos from local Mexican restaurants—and cervezas. Can’t forget the cervezas.
Hosted by City Councilmember Allen Warren, the June 20 festival offers taco eating contests and chihuahua beauty competitions, in addition to live wrestling from Lucha Libre Mexicana and music from San Francisco’s Rock En Espanol band (Spanish-language rock music) The Sweet Bones.
