The seventh season of the Sacramento Speakers Series kicks off Oct. 11 with David McCullough, Pulitzer Prize-winning author and historian. McCullough has been widely acclaimed as a “master of the art of narrative history.” He has twice won the National Book Award and has received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian award.
Other speakers throughout the season include David Gergen, Condoleezza Rice, Richard Roeper, Peter Greenberg and Lisa Ling, with Sacramento’s very own Kelly Brothers serving as host. He will moderate the lectures and question-and-answer sessions.
