It’s always fun when Sacramento residents appear on national TV. Well, we’ve all got a chance this Friday night to watch one of our very own on “The Singing Bee,” a series on CMT that tests whether contestants know the lyrics to various well-known songs from country and other genres. Already this season, contestants have assessed their lyrical skills to songs like Alan Jackson’s Gone Country, Daughtry’s Home and Everclear’s Santa Monica.
So let’s join Sacramento’s Daniel Sanchez by tuning in (and perhaps testing our own knowledge) at 9 p.m. this Friday — channel 72 for Comcast subscribers, channel 327 for DirecTV, 143 for SureWest and 166 for Dish Network.
