Sacramento Harvest Festival

Some people, I’m sure, do this every year: earmark the weekend before Thanksgiving to attend the Sacramento Harvest Festival. And why not? Billed as the “largest indoor arts and crafts show on the West Coast,” the festival boasts hundreds of vendors selling everything from jewelry to clothing to pottery, home décor, toys and more. Forget Black Friday, you can do your shopping here!

Is it all about the shopping? Well, maybe mostly, but not entirely. There will be lots of entertainment on hand as well as activities for the kids.

The Sacramento Harvest Festival takes place Friday–Sunday, Nov. 16-18, at Cal Expo. Admission is $9 for adults with discounts for seniors and youth, but adults and seniors can receive $2 off admission prices by bringing a nonperishable food item for Elk Grove Food Bank Services to the event.
