If you’re anything like us at the magazine, then you undoubtedly love both food and movies. During the past few years, there has been a steady rise in documentary filmmaking dedicated to food. On Saturday, March 10, the Guild Theater has scheduled an entire day to pay tribute to these foodie-inspired films.
There is much more to our food than we experience while eating it. Learn all about how food gets from the farm to our table, as well as government regulations, genetic modifications and organics. Eight films will be featured; see the schedule below for more information. The day will also include a panel discussion featuring local farmers to discuss points brought up in the films. Whole Foods will provide healthy snacks.
