Kick off Sacramento Beer Week by getting to know your local craft brewers at the Sacramento Brewers Showcase, the all-you-can-drink opening party that promises to prep your liver for the following 10 days of boozy merriment. On the evening of Feb. 26, more than 35 local breweries are congregating under the roof of the California Automobile Museum in Old Sacramento to give out unlimited beer samples. Beer lovers will be delighted to get a first crack at the new beers developed exclusively for Sacramento Beer Week. Participating brewing companies include Berryessa, Bike Dog, Heretic, Knee Deep, Monks Cellar, Oak Park, Ruhstaller, Track 7 and more. To balance out the beer buzz, Alley Katz, Applebee’s, Mary’s Pizza Shack, Nugget Market, Raley’s & Bel Air, and Tankhouse will be on site handing out snacks and small bites. For the price of admission, guests not only get to get their drink and grub on, but will also take home a commemorative tasting glass and have the chance to stroll through the museum and check out the more than 150 cars on display.
