If you enjoy spending your weekends indulging in beer and chili, then considering doing it while benefiting art programs that assist at-risk children. On March 3, you can do just that at the Sacramento Beer & Chili Festival.
Everyone who attends will receive a 5-ounce beer mug for unlimited tastes from 18 breweries from around Sacramento and the state, as well as a cup for chili tastings. (Cook-off participants are encouraged to make vegetarian and meat varieties of chili.)
Among the breweries offering tastings at the event are Ruhstaller, Sudwerk, Sutter Buttes Brewing and New Helvetia Brewing Company.
In addition to the great food and drink, there will be live music from local musical group As Yet Untitled, food vendors other than chili, and a kid-friendly craft area. For more information click here.
