Romeo & Juliet’s Renaissance Party

2067

Come celebrate the Sacramento Ballet’s new season—and the 25th season of artistic director Ron Cunningham—at Romeo & Juliet’s Renaissance Party, taking place Saturday, Oct. 13. Enjoy an evening of music, food, drink and entertainment by Sacramento Ballet dancers, in period costume, at Palazzo La Dolce Vita in Sacramento. Tickets to the party, which runs from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., are $65.

Then, make sure to get your tickets to see Romeo & Juliet, Cunningham’s signature piece and what he refers to as “the absolute best choreography of my career,” running from Thursday–Sunday, Oct. 18–21 at the Community Center Theater in Sacramento. Shows start at 7:30 p.m. Thursday–Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. Want to get some inside insight into the show? Arrive early; Cunningham offers an informal talk 45 minutes prior to curtain time. Tickets to the ballet are $17–$70. On the fence about attending? Keep in mind that the Sacramento Ballet will not repeat Romeo & Juliet until 2017.
