Riverboat Cabaret With Capital Stage

1982

The gutsy, ingenious folks over at Capital Stage—the same ones who made my good friend Michelle Murphy run naked across their stage as part of their racy interpretation of Dangerous Liaisons—are moving to new digs in the heart of midtown. Their former home, the Delta King riverboat in Old Sacramento, will host one last performance on Sunday night, a cabaret/fundraiser to help with the move. Join them for an evening of singing, laughter, food and drink to help support one of the edgiest and most satisfying theater enterprises in town.

Sunday, July 24  at 7 p.m., Delta King, 1000 Front St., Old Sacramento. Any donation amount is accepted ($20 or more recommended).
