For those of you who thought the Downtown Ice Rink was the only one in town, guess again! This year marks the first for the Holiday Ice Rink in Rancho Cordova, located off Hwy. 50 on Zinfandel Drive. The 60-by-80-foot rink is open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and runs through Jan. 16. Parking is free, and admission ranges from $5.50 to $10.50 depending on whether you’re an adult or a child, and whether you’re also renting skates. This Sunday, why not hit the ice during the 12th Annual Cordova Community Christmas Tree Lighting Festival—the tree is being moved to the rink this year, and you can skate under its snow!
