Due to the winterlike weather this past Saturday, Pops in the Park was postponed. But you know what that means? We get two Pops in one weekend! First the Q-Balls (classic rock from the ’60s through the ’80s) play at Glenn Hall Park on Saturday at 6 p.m., and then Tom Rigney & Flambeau (described as “a band that generates enough heat and energy to ignite a dance floor or lift an audience to its feet”) will perform at McKinley Park on Sunday at 6 p.m.
Food from Hoppy Brewing, Burr’s Fountain and Opa! Opa! is available for purchase, as is beer and wine from Hoppy and Bogle, respectively. But it’s free to plop down on a blanket with your picnic basket and enjoy the tunes. Next up? The SwingMasters at Bertha Henschel Park on the 18th and Mercy Me at East Portal Park on June 25.
